This policy explains what personal data S3M Security Inc. ("S3M", "we") collects through s3msecurity.com, why we collect it, who processes it for us and what choices you have.

What we collect

Information you send us through a form

Form What we ask for
Distributor application Company name, website and headquarters country; the regions you want to cover; the security vendors you distribute today (optional); reseller network size, technical team size and annual revenue range; your name, job title, work email and phone (optional); any notes you add
Reseller application Company name, website and country; specialisation (optional); the partner tier you are aiming for; your name, work email and phone (optional); any notes you add
Demo request Your name, company and work email; country (optional); the products you want to see; anything you tell us about your environment
Contact Your name, email, company (optional) and message
Newsletter Your work email and your consent to receive our news

With each submission we also store the date and time and the country it came from. Cloudflare works out the country from your IP address; we do not store the IP address itself.

Spam protection

Our forms use Cloudflare Turnstile to check that a person, not a bot, is sending them. Turnstile runs in your browser on pages that have a form. Cloudflare receives technical information such as your IP address and browser details to make that check. When you submit a form, we pass your IP address to Cloudflare once more to confirm the result.

Technical data

Cloudflare hosts this website. To deliver pages and protect the site from attacks, Cloudflare processes your IP address and request details, such as the page you asked for and your browser type.

We do not use analytics, advertising or social media tracking on this website.

Cookies and local storage

  • We do not set advertising or analytics cookies, so there is nothing to accept or decline.
  • If you pause the page animations, your browser remembers that choice in its local storage. It stays on your device and is never sent to us.
  • Cloudflare may set strictly necessary security cookies to protect the site.
  • The admin area, used only by S3M staff, needs a sign-in cookie.

Who processes it for us

  • Cloudflare hosts the website, stores form submissions in its Western Europe data region and runs Turnstile.
  • Our internal customer system: our staff copy submissions into it to follow up with you.
  • Resend sends our staff an email when a new submission arrives. That email names the form and the country only; your details stay in our systems.
  • S3M partners: if you ask for a demo or a local reseller, we may pass your details to an authorized S3M partner in your country so they can help you.
  • Authorities, when the law requires us to.

International transfers

S3M is based in the United States. Our staff open form submissions from the United States and Türkiye, and Cloudflare stores them in Western Europe. Where our service providers move personal data out of the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, they do so under the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses or another lawful mechanism set out in their data processing terms.

How long we keep it

  • Partner applications: up to 3 years after our last contact with you.
  • Demo requests and contact messages: up to 2 years after our last contact with you.
  • Newsletter: until you unsubscribe.

After that we delete the data, or keep it only where the law requires us to.

Your rights

You can ask us to:

  • give you a copy of your data;
  • correct it;
  • delete it;
  • restrict or object to how we use it;
  • send it to you or to another company in a portable format.

You can withdraw your newsletter consent at any time by writing to us or by using the unsubscribe link in our emails. In the EU or the UK you can also complain to your local data protection authority.

If you live in a US state with a privacy law, you have similar rights, and we will not treat you differently for using them. We do not sell personal data or share it for targeted advertising.

Write to sales@s3msecurity.com to use any of these rights. We answer within one month.

Security

The website is served over HTTPS. Only authorized S3M staff can open form submissions, and the admin area needs a verified company sign-in.

Children

This website is for businesses. It is not meant for children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their data.

Changes to this policy

When we change this policy, we update the date at the top of this page.
